Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 26, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern use of Context, a cognitive continuity web app for everyday plans, activity logging, reminders, read-only calendar support, AI-assisted recall, daily reflections, SMS commands, and care partner summaries.
Using Context
By using Context, you agree to these Terms. If you are helping another person use Context, you confirm that you have permission to help set up or manage the household, care partner access, reminders, phone number, and calendar connection.
Program Description
Context helps users record plans and daily activities, check items off, move or delete tasks, repeat tasks, add reflections, connect read-only calendar information, ask for recall help, and share a calm day view with a care partner. If users opt in, Context may send app notifications or text messages that include reminder cues, re-entry prompts, task workflows, and daily activity summaries.
Not Medical or Emergency Care
Context is not a medical device, medical treatment, clinical monitoring service, or emergency service. Context may help with everyday memory support, but it does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. In an emergency, call 911 or local emergency services.
AI-Assisted Support
Context may use AI to parse plans, summarize reflections, and suggest what a user may have been doing or may need next. AI suggestions can be wrong. Context shows confidence language and asks for confirmation when needed. Users and care partners should use their own judgment.
Calendar Access
If you connect Google Calendar or Google Tasks, Context uses read-only access. Context can show calendar items and tasks inside the app, but it cannot edit or delete items in Google Calendar or Google Tasks. You can disconnect calendar access in Context settings or in your Google Account.
Care Partner Sharing
If a household includes a care partner, the care partner may see plans, completed items, calendar previews, daily reflections, tags, and reassurance summaries for the household. Context is designed for support without live surveillance.
SMS Consent
By entering your mobile phone number in Context and continuing setup, you agree to receive text messages from Context related to reminders, activity summaries, and account use. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
App Notification Permission
Context sends push notifications only after you enable them on a supported device. You can disable them in Context or in your device settings. Notification delivery is not guaranteed, and lock-screen content may be visible to other people with access to your device.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. Reminder messages may be sent periodically based on user settings and activity. Care partner summary messages may be sent daily if enabled. SMS command replies may update plans, move tasks, delete tasks, stop repeats, or mark items done.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt Out and Help
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at getcontextapp@gmail.com.
Pilot Features
Context is in an early pilot phase. Features may change as we improve safety, simplicity, and reliability. Some updates may be tested first with internal households before participant rollout.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. View it at https://getcontextapp.com/privacy.
Appropriate Use
Do not use Context for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or emergency purposes. Do not enter information about another person unless you have permission to do so. Do not rely on Context as the only source for time-sensitive medical, legal, safety, or financial decisions.
Accounts and Access
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method and device secure. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us promptly.
Availability and Changes
We try to keep Context reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free suggestions, delivery of every SMS or push notification, or compatibility with every device, browser, carrier, or calendar setting.
Ownership
Context, including its design, software, text, and product experience, belongs to Context or its licensors. You may use Context only as allowed by these Terms.
Ending Use
You may stop using Context, disconnect calendar access, opt out of SMS messages, or ask us to close your account. We may suspend access if needed for safety, security, legal compliance, or misuse.
